Based at the foot of the Pentland Hills, near Edinburgh, this campervan company was inspired by 3 friends, one van and a 2 month adventure across Europe. During their travels they realised how amazing these rolling spaces can be for exploring new places, where you have ultimate flexibility of where you go and when you go. With a background in graphic design, they saw the potential for design focused campervans that felt contemporary and bright. Material sustainability is very important to them, and so there is a strong theme of natural textures, tones and finishes throughout a Hideout Van. Amazing!
Studio Hideout hire their SmartBench from Edinburgh Open Workshop (check out our YouTube video on them here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4SxLXfaweo). They use SmartBench to run longer jobs like full kitchen unit builds and various storage solutions that go into their Hideouts. SmartBench has helped us to ensure their business is scalable, and as efficient as possible.
